Motorist Trapped, Airlifted In Route 35 Central Jersey Crash: Developing

A motorist was trapped in a serious crash in Central Jersey, according to developing and unconfirmed reports.

The crash occurred at about 4:15 p.m. Friday on Route 35 in Old Bridge, initial reports said.

There was a request for a medical helicopter to airlift the crash victim to an area hospital, according to an unconfirmed report.

Wires were reported down at the crash scene.

Old Bridge police were not immediately available for comment.
